Sheriff’s Office partners with Summit Church for National Faith & Blue Weekend
CENTENNIAL – Summit Church, The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, together with will hold a Sunday Service and Community Forum titled “Stronger Together.” The event will be held during National Faith & Blue Weekend, October 7-10, when law enforcement agencies across the U.S. will partner with faith-based organizations to help strengthen relationships and build stronger communities. The event is free, open to the public and people of all faiths are invited to attend. The event will consist of panel discussion on how law enforcement can work together with residents and businesses to build mutual trust and respect among those we serve.
The panel will include:
Sheriff Tyler Brown, Arapahoe County Sheriff
Qusair Mohamedbhai, Civil Rights Attorney
Omar Montgomery, President, Aurora Branch of the NAACP
Sgt. Edred Bryan II, Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office
Wild Tonic’s Lavender Kombucha Margarita
Ingredients:
- 3 oz tequila
- 2 oz triple sec
- 3 oz fresh lime juice
- 6 oz Wild Tonic Lavender Love Kombucha
- Sea salt
Directions:
1. Put salt on a small plate or saucer. Wet the rims of the glasses with lime juice and dip in the salt to coat the rim of each glass.
2. Add tequila, triple sec and lime juice to a cocktail shaker with ice. Stir to combine, about 30 seconds.
3. Add the kombucha and give a quick stir.
4. Strain into the glasses over ice and garnish with lime slices, if desired. Enjoy!
Wild Tonic’s Kombucha Mule
Ingredients:
- 2 oz vodka
- 1 oz lime juice
- 6 oz Wild Tonic Mango Ginger Kombucha
Directions:
1. Fill a highball glass or copper mule glass with ice.
2. Add vodka and lime juice, then top it off with kombucha. Stir gently until combined.
3. Garnish with a lime slice if desired. Enjoy!
