HEARING LOSS

“World Hearing Day” is March 3rd. With the pandemic, adults and kids are plugged into earbuds and headsets for hours at a time for phone calls, meetings, and school work. Pay attention to the volume: Sounds above 85 dB can be harmful. A normal conversation is 60 dB. A hairdryer is at about 85 dB. Most people lose their hearing gradually so they don’t know what sounds they are missing. Find out how hearing aids can help with ringing. HOUSE DEMS WANT CABLE COMPANIES TO DROP CONSERVATIVE CHANNELS

Jennifer Kerns discussed the cancel culture with John on how House Democrats are pressuring cable TV providers and online streaming companies to purge conservative media outlets from their platforms or at the very least do more to censor content they deem fake and misleading. They are targeting Fox News Channel, One America News Network, and Newsmax by casting them as purveyors of lies and conspiracy theories that have ripped apart the nation, downplayed the threat of the coronavirus, and helped give rise to the Jan. 6 rampage at the U.S. Capitol.
